Qualities of Successful Business Owners - Drive
We all have days when we don't want to get out of bed and certainly have no interest in doing anything meaningful or productive. Running two businesses that are based in Australia that has dealings in North America and South-east Asia which calls for extended hours of morning and evening occasionally leaves me in a situation there I am sure I am the hardest person in the world to rouse from sleep at 4.00am to make an important phone call. However, that phone call is important and when no-one else can make that call for me I need to find the drive or motivation to simply do what is required.
Do You Want to Change?
How many psychologists does it take to change a light bulb?
None, the light bulb needs to want to change.
The Power to Move Mountains in Business
Anger, stress and frustration are emotions that we all experience at times. In business we all work in competitive environments and have to constantly be on the ball in all aspects of operations as well as strategically focusing on the next move to be a step ahead of the competition. So when emotional pressure hits us either from our business or personal lives we must consider the best way to manage it to advantage rather than let it simmer until we explode or perpetually weep out of us in a constant pity party.

In our management mentorship programme at MIB Business Solutions I have heard many a manager claim that it is all too difficult to identify part time roles and it was easier to simply not have such roles.
